Welcome to our church

Join us in a celebration

Every Sunday, we meet to celebrate our love for the Lord and thank Him for His Saving grace.

You are always guaranteed a warm welcome at our church. Our church is made up of ordinary people who have a love for Jesus Christ. If you want to attend a service or any of our meetings or events, please just come along. Everyone is welcome.

If you are new to the community, are from another country, never been in a church before or would like to visit us for the first time, here is some information that should make your visit useful. Please ask for Pastor David or Pastor Chris, when you turn up at the church. Alternatively, if you are visiting us for the first time, please send us an email so we can look out for you.

Please let us know also whether you have any special needs

At the door

When you arrive at the church, you will be welcomed by our Greeter Mrs Joanne Awodipe. She will hand you our monthly bulletin, which also includes our Order of Service, so you will be able to follow the activities during the church service. The bulletin also has useful information about forthcoming events etc

Service times

We would like everyone to be present at the beginning of the service. The service starts at 11am. Please see the calendar for other events and activities

Dress Code

We have no dress code at Adonai. Of course, we expect people to dress modestly. We are more interested in meeting you!

During the service

We like to recognize all new faces to the church. You will be asked to indicate if this is your first visit, so we give you a warm welcome. We would also take your details so we can keep in touch with you

After the service

Please do not dash off immediately. We have a short reception at the end of each service for everyone and we would love to chat with you.

Children

There is Sunday school for all children up to the age of 11, throughout the service. For children aged 12-16, there is a special class that runs from 11am to 12 noon, after which they return to the main adult service
