Every Sunday, we meet to celebrate our love for the Lord and thank Him for His Saving grace.
You are always guaranteed a warm welcome at our church. Our church is made up of ordinary people who have a love for Jesus Christ. If you want to attend a service or any of our meetings or events, please just come along. Everyone is welcome. If you are new to the community, are from another country, never been in a church before or would like to visit us for the first time, here is some information that should make your visit useful. Please ask for Pastor David or Pastor Chris, when you turn up at the church. Alternatively, if you are visiting us for the first time, please send us an email so we can look out for you.

When you arrive at the church, you will be welcomed by our Greeter Mrs Joanne Awodipe. She will hand you our monthly bulletin, which also includes our Order of Service, so you will be able to follow the activities during the church service. The bulletin also has useful information about forthcoming events etc
Service times
We would like everyone to be present at the beginning of the service. The service starts at 11am. Please see the calendar for other events and activities
Dress Code
We have no dress code at Adonai. Of course, we expect people to dress modestly. We are more interested in meeting you! During the service We like to recognize all new faces to the church. You will be asked to indicate if this is your first visit, so we give you a warm welcome. We would also take your details so we can keep in touch with you
After the service
Please do not dash off immediately. We have a short reception at the end of each service for everyone and we would love to chat with you.
Children
There is Sunday school for all children up to the age of 11, throughout the service. For children aged 12-16, there is a special class that runs from 11am to 12 noon, after which they return to the main adult service

Departments in our church
Here are some of the departments in our church.
THE WELFARE DEPARTMENT
The welfare department currently looks after church members for provision of free refreshments after service every Sunday.
It is in the process of stocking up foods, clothings, to distribute to as many people in the church and community as have need for these materials .

THE SELAH SINGERS (SS)
SS is the church's musical group. It comprises of the instrumentalists, worship leaders and the praise team.
SS receive invitation from time to time to other ministries and they lead praise and worship sessions at various occasions like naming ceremonies, birthday parties, weddings organised by church members.
At the moment SS are set to organise quarterly sing-song sessions for the church to help bring God’s presence down into people’s lives
EVANGELISM TEAM
This group is made up of church members who are passionate about spreading the good news of the joy , peace and salvation that can be found in Christ Jesus.
They go out in the streets, shopping centres in Leyton, Leytonstone , Hackney every Saturday to chat to people about the need to involve Jesus in their day to day lives.
Big street evangelistic outreach programmes incorporating music, dance, drama clips,fitness sessions are being planned to hold once every month at designated shopping centres in Waltham Forest.
PUBLICATION AND RESEARCH
The aim of this department is to ensure that all members and friends of Adonai Ambassador Assembly (AAA) are kept informed of church and other related activities. The team is also responsible for identifying the needs of both members of the church and the community to enable the church to respond to these emerging needs
This is the females’ fellowship in the church. It’s a member of the larger Good Women Fellowship of The RCCG Worldwide led by Pastor Mrs Folu Adeboye.
The main focus of this group is to support the church financially and by praying for the various programmes organised by the church; to pray for fellow sisters and to reach unchurched women for Christ
THE YOUTH CLUB
The Youth Club aka JEANS CLUB- Joint Effort Advocating New Society aim to reach as many youths as possible with the gospel of Jesus so that young people’s lives can be transformed through the power in the name of Jesus, and so that youths can become good,law abiding citizens serving God and humanity.
The leadership of JEANS will have a theme for each year and organise different activities to propagate the theme and sensitise the community on the chosen theme.
There will also be a youth marathon each year and the proceeds from sponsorship will be donated to a local charity BUSINESS FELLOWSHIP
The business Fellowship is known as Haggai Business Fellowship (HBF). The vision of HBF is to have an interdenominational forum that will help and assist business people and those who aspire to go into business in various ways through organising seminars, workshops; and supproting each other through praying and counselling.
Our major objective is to provide support for business people and to promote excellence in the marketplace.
