FRESH FIRE: PRAYER POINTS FOR AUGUST 2010

PRAYER FOR OUR COMMUNITY & ADONAI AMBASSADORS ASSEMBLY:

Father, in the name of Jesus, I thank You for today and for every day of my life. Thank You for sleeping and for waking up. Thank You for bringing me to Church today and for drawing me to Yourself, to prayer and to power. I also thank You for all the ways You have intervened in my affairs and in the affairs of this Church and community. Father, give unto us in this Church the power for an effective prayer life and let there be a full and fresh outpouring of the Holy Spirit upon each and every one of us in Jesus name. In unity with You and as a Church, we breakdown the authority and dominion of Satan over the souls of the people in our community. Lord, release faithful, committed dedicated and obedient labourers into this assembly. Every covenant between the souls of people in this community and Satan, we shatter into pieces in Jesus name. We command in the name of Jesus that every power holding the souls of people in this community in captivity lose its grip. Oh Lord, release upon us as a Church the fresh fire to disgrace the territorial power and spirits over our community and let the Spirit of steadfastness, consistency, holiness, hunger and thirst for Your Word come upon many in our community as You connect them to the Gospel. Thank You Father for you will do for us more than we have asked in Jesus Christ Mighty name we pray. Amen.

Prayer Strategy:

1. Confess your sins to God     

2. Cover yourself with the blood of Jesus

3. Give God praise and worship

Week 1: Scriptures to stand upon – Ps 136:3-4; Ps 102:13; Luke 2:52.

1.  Thank God for the previous months of this year and prophesy to the remaining months of 2010.

2.  Pray that the doors of favour and enlargement open to you in Jesus Name.

3.  Pray that you will break loose from the spirit of foolishness in Jesus Name.

Week 2: Scriptures to stand upon – Isa 31:3; 2 Kings 2:19-22; Mt 17:20

1.  Ask God for the anointing to overcome every power of failure operating in your life.

2.  Pray that every fountain of bitterness flowing against your life should dry up in Jesus Name.

3.  Pray that every mountain before you be removed to the sea in Jesus name.

Week 3: Scriptures to stand upon – 1 Tim 6:20; 2 Tim 1:13-14; Rom 8:35

1.  Ask God for the grace to be focused and locate your divine purpose in Jesus Name.

2.  Ask God to release into your life the grace to be completely committed to Him in Jesus name.

3.  Ask God to deliver you from the Spirit of distraction in Jesus name.

Week 4: Scriptures to stand upon – Gen 24:12-14; Jer 17:18; Jer 29:11

1.  Pray that the anointing for progress and success fall upon you now in Jesus name.

2.  Pray that every power, limiting your potentials be destroyed in Jesus name.

3.  Ask that God will divinely guide you into the route He has prepared for you to reach your destination in Jesus name.

Week 5: Scriptures to stand upon Ps 118:25; Isa 45:3; Gen 22:14

1.  Ask that God will mobilise the resources of heaven for you in Jesus Name.

2.  Pray that the treasury of heaven be opened unto you and that the shower of blessings come upon you in Jesus name.

3.  Pray that from now Jehovah Jireh will be your God.
